Cheyenne’s Allie Clift – Character Counts Presented by K&S Tire
Allie Clift is a junior and the starting pitcher for Cheyenne. She said her teammates are truly her best friends and she loves competing with them and representing Cheyenne-Reydon High School. “What I love most about my team is that they are so uplifting no matter the situation. My teammates are my best friends,” said Clift.
Just returning to school was exciting for Clift and her teammates but taking the field and having those moments in practice and games were priceless. “I was so unbelievably excited to get to return to school and the field. The field is like my home away from home, so it was such a relief to get to return,” said Clift.
Not only does Clift compete with her high school, she also plays competitive ball for a well-known team in Oklahoma amongst other activities. “I play travel ball for Oklahoma Fury,” said Clift. “I am also an active member in the Cheyenne High School yearbook staff.”
Clift has big plans for her future. She is focused on taking care of business this softball season, but she is also looking forward to her future and continuing to play the game she is so passionate about. “After I graduate, I am hoping to get a scholarship to play softball somewhere. I love the game and it would mean so much to me to further my career after I graduate,” said Clift.
Clift said her grandmother was a big influence in her life and was always there to support her. “My grandmother Elma Clift was one of my biggest influencers. It was so uplifting to hear her cheering me on from the stands. She definitely was my biggest fan on and off the field,” said Clift.
